This was my first title by this author. It was a deliciously slow seduction of a thirty year old spinster and beautifully done, her tantalizingly slow self discovery. (It was page 230 before she ever experienced her first kiss!) At times it was hard to see Emma choose the path that could easily have led to her destruction, but happily the more Marlowe comes to know the real woman hiding behind the spinster facade, he does come to respect and to love her for herself.
Very well done.
